Jerusalem: Colonists stormed on Wednesday the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.

According to Qatar News Agency, dozens of colonists entered Al-Aqsa in groups via the Mughrabi Gate, where they conducted provocative tours across its courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals. This incident is part of an ongoing pattern observed since the onset of the comprehensive Israeli military actions against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023.

Since the commencement of these hostilities, over 68,000 colonists have entered Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. This activity has been accompanied by increased restrictions on entry to the mosque and at the entrances to the Old City, further exacerbating tensions in the region.
