Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Sudan, Lieutenant-General, Abdul Fattah Al Burhan, confirmed on Monday that the war that has been continuing in Sudan is approaching to the end, stressing that Army can end what he called rebellion from the part of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
In his remarks at a military area in the Red Sea state, Al Burhan outlined that it was the army that arranged his exit from the buildings of the General headquarters of the armed forces not through a deal with other parties, noting that the war of the armed forces against what he called rebel militias would continue.
Al Burhan said these militias terrorized the citizens, desecrated, and looted their property and public funds, hailing the Sudanese people's rally in support of the armed forces and engagement of a group of volunteers in combat operations at the front lines.
He stated that the army and people stand united in countering foreign mercenaries who, he said, came from everywhere and perpetrated the most brutal crimes against the Sudanese people.
He pledged that the country will dedicate every single effort and time until the country comes out of this ordeal more stronger and powerful.
