Gaza: The casualty toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 57,680 martyrs and 137,409 wounded.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Wednesday that hospitals in the Strip received 105 martyrs and 530 wounded over the past 24 hours. The Ministry also highlighted that several victims remain trapped under debris, with emergency and civil defense teams unable to reach them due to the continuous conflict.
The Ministry further explained that since the occupation violated the truce on March 18, the death toll and the number of wounded have reached 7,118 and 25,368, respectively. In the past 24 hours alone, seven martyrs and more than 57 wounded were reported arriving at hospitals, bringing the total number of aid-seeking victims to 773 and more than 5,101 wounded.
The Gaza Strip continues to endure intense Israeli bombardment targeting residential areas, medical facilities, and displacement centers. This situation is occurring amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions, characterized by severe shortages of food, water, and medicine. Additionally, there are growing warnings about the potential complete collapse of the health and environmental sectors.
