Gaza: The casualty toll from the ongoing Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, reached 54,249 martyrs and 123,492 injured.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that, within the past 24 hours, hospitals in the sector received 67 martyrs, including five whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble, and 179 injured. The Ministry noted that this tally does not include hospitals in the northern Gaza governorate due to the ongoing Israeli attacks that make access difficult.
Since the resumption of hostilities on March 18, 3,986 people have been martyred, and 11,451 others injured, the report underlined. Gaza is facing a catastrophic humanitarian crisis due to the prevention of humanitarian aid, including essential medicines and medical equipment, from reaching the population. Over two million people remain in camps and shelters under extremely dire living conditions.
