Canadian Prime Minister Leaves Doha

Doha: HE Prime Minister of Canada Dr. Mark Carney left Doha on Monday morning, after his state visit to the country. His Excellency and his accompanying delegation were seen off at Hamad International Airport by HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi and HE Ambassador of Canada to the State of Qatar Karim Morcos.

According to Qatar News Agency, Dr. Carney's visit to Qatar was part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Canada and Qatar. The visit included discussions on various issues of mutual interest, particularly in the fields of energy and trade. The farewell at the airport underscored the importance of these diplomatic engagements and the commitment from both nations to continue their collaboration.
