Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdel-Latif Darian, on Friday welcomed at Dar Al-Fatwa Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, who offered him well-wishes marking the Hijri New Year, hoping that “it will be a good year for the Lebanese and will witness a breakthrough in dealing with the Lebanese crises.” Ambassador Bukhari stressed that Saudi Arabia was keen on Lebanon and its people, just as it was keen on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people. ‘The KSA has all the love and respect for the Lebanese, with whom it shares distinguished historical brotherly relations.” For his part, Mufti Derian thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its relentless support for Lebanon in various fields.
