Caretaker Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib flew this morning to Brussels for talks with European Union officials.
He will then visit the USA for meetings with American officials in Washington, as well as with UN officials in New York.
Bou Habib will also head to Canada on an official visit during which he will hold talks with his Canadian counterpart.
Bou Habib’s tour aims at “pursuing Lebanon’s efforts to avoid broad war in the south that could develop into an open regional warfare” and at “explaining the government’s policy about the Syrian displacement in Lebanon and its vision for a solution.”
