Manama: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain has received telephone calls from the leaders of the Maldives, Uzbekistan, and Ethiopia expressing solidarity following an Iranian attack on its territory.

According to Qatar News Agency, the King spoke on Wednesday with President Mohamed Muizzu of the Maldives, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia. During the conversations, the three leaders expressed their countries' full solidarity with Bahrain and condemned the Iranian assault targeting its territory. They reaffirmed their support for measures taken by Bahrain to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its security and stability.
