Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) announced that its forces have successfully intercepted and destroyed 105 missiles and 176 drones aimed at the Kingdom since the onset of Iranian attacks. The BDF conveyed this update on Tuesday, emphasizing ongoing defensive efforts to protect the nation.
According to Qatar News Agency, the command has urged citizens to exercise maximum caution, advising them to avoid damaged areas and suspicious objects. The public is also instructed to refrain from photographing military operations or the sites where debris has fallen. This is part of a broader effort to maintain security and minimize misinformation during these challenging times.
Furthermore, the BDF has appealed to the public to avoid spreading rumors and to rely exclusively on official sources for information. It encouraged citizens to follow updates, alerts, and warnings via official government media outlets to stay informed about the situation.
The command highlighted that the targeting of civilian facilities and private property through the use of ballistic missiles and drones is a clear violation of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter. They underscored that such attacks pose a direct threat to regional peace and security, calling for adherence to international legal standards.
