Doha: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) has announced the continuation of its annual Ramadan food baskets project, aimed at supporting needy families during the holy month.

According to Qatar News Agency, Director General of the General Administration of Endowments at Awqaf, Eng. Hassan Abdullah Al Marzouqi, emphasized that distributing Ramadan food baskets is a source of pride for the ministry, as it embodies the values of solidarity and generosity during this sacred time.

He noted that the baskets contain a variety of essential food items, helping families meet their nutritional needs for both Iftar and Suhoor. The initiative plays a crucial role in easing financial burdens on disadvantaged households, ensuring they can observe Ramadan with greater comfort and dignity.
