Doha: HE Attorney General of the State of Qatar Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi met separately with HE Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev and HE Vice-President of the Egyptian Court of Cassation and Chairman of the Egyptian Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Combating Unit (EMLCU), Counselor Ahmed Saeed Khalil. During the two meetings, they exchanged views on a number of topics of common interest and ways to strengthen cooperation in the legal field, exchange experiences, and training.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between Qatar and each of Azerbaijan and Egypt in the legal sector. Both meetings focused on the importance of sharing knowledge and expertise to improve legal practices and address challenges related to money laundering and terrorist financing.

The meetings also explored potential partnerships in capacity building and joint training programs for legal professionals. The discussions underscored the commitment of Qatar to collaborate with international counterparts to bolster legal systems and promote justice globally.
