Arafat, The Imam at the Grand Mosque in Makkah Sheikh Dr. Maher Al-Muaiqly urged the pilgrims to seize the opportunities of the great virtue of pilgrimage during their stand at the holy Arafat Site, admonishing every single Muslim to safeguard the five Islamic necessities: the faith, life, intellect, property, and lineage.

He added that Hajj is the demonstration of ritual and devotion of worship to Allah, the day when Allah-the Almighty- boasts to His angels of the pilgrims in the holy place and time that will inevitably double the virtuous deeds and the burdensome weight of their sins is granted forgiveness from the Almighty.

Dr. Maher Al-Muaiqly pointed out that the Islamic Sharia came to achieve the interests and stave off vices, as confirmed by the Sharia that reducing
vices takes precedence over benefits, since it is the religion of Allah for the creatures.

In concluding his sermon, he called on the pilgrims to pray for the people of Palestine who have been enduring the pain, with their enemy indulging in bloodshed and running amok in the country, depriving the Palestinians of food, medicine, and cloth.
