Doha: Qatar national team lost to their Yemeni counterpart 1-0 in their match at Damac Stadium on Sunday. This was the second Group A match of the ongoing Arabian Gulf Cup U20 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia until September 9.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari team's tally stayed at one point, while Yemen moved up to three points, now tied with Saudi Arabia. The Saudi team will play their Kuwaiti counterparts later today at Prince Sultan Sports City Stadium.

In the opening round of Group One, Qatar U20 national team drew 2-2 with their Kuwaiti counterparts. The young Qatari team (Al-Annabi) will next face their Saudi counterpart at Prince Sultan Sports City Stadium on Wednesday.

The tournament matches are being held at Prince Sultan Sports City Stadium and Damac Club Stadium. The participating teams have been divided into two groups: Group A includes Qatar, host Saudi Arabia, and Yemen, while Group B includes Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, and Egypt, which is participating by invitation following the withdrawal of the UAE team.
