Doha: The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned Iran's recent attacks targeting oil and industrial facilities in several Gulf states, calling them a "blatant" and "dangerous" escalation. The parliament warned that these attacks pose a highly serious threat to regional stability and global energy security.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Yammahi, issued a statement highlighting that these hostile actions represent a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. The attacks have specifically targeted civilian and economic facilities, including the Pars field, which is an extension of Qatar's North Field gas reserve.

Al Yammahi emphasized that these assaults on oil and industrial infrastructure not only infringe on the sovereignty of Arab states but also pose a direct threat to the stability of global energy markets. He noted that such actions undermine international efforts to ensure secure energy supplies, thereby increasing the severity of these attacks.

The Speaker reiterated the Arab Parliament's unwavering support for the Gulf states, affirming solidarity in addressing these threats. He pledged support for all legitimate measures undertaken by these states to protect their sovereignty, security, and vital resources and infrastructure.
