Doha: The American company Anthropic announced the launch of a trial version of a new AI agent named Claude for Chrome, built on its renowned Claude models and currently available to a limited group of subscribers. The company affirms that this step comes within the framework of a rapidly accelerating race among AI companies to develop smart browsers or integrations that offer a smoother experience.

According to Qatar News Agency, recently, the AI company Perplexity launched its own browser Comet, equipped with an agent that assists in task completion, while Open AI is preparing to launch an AI-powered browser with similar features, and Google has integrated its Gemini models into the Chrome browser over the past few months.
