Al arabi: Al Arabi SC regained the lead of the General Basketball League, after defeating Qatar SC 102-83 in their match on Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, with this victory, Al Arabi raised their tally to 22 points from 12 matches, topping the league standings by one point ahead of Al Rayyan, which sit 2nd with 21 points from 11 matches. Meanwhile, Qatar SC remained on 14 points, which increased the significance of upcoming rounds in determining the standings at the top.

The standout star of the match was Bahraini professional Mustafa Hussein of Al Arabi SC, who scored 23 points and demonstrated excellent shooting ability from various distances, while creating multiple scoring opportunities for his team, playing a decisive role in securing the win for Al Arabi SC.

On the other side, Asem Walid A Shalfawi was Qatar SC's top scorer with 19 points, trying to keep his team in contention despite the intense defensive pressure imposed by Al Arabi SC throughout the game.
