Doha: Al Arabi defeated Al Rayyan in straight sets, winning three sets to none, during their match on Sunday, held as part of round one of the Qatar General Men's Volleyball League.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Arabi secured their victory with set scores of (25-22), (25-18), and (25-20), raising their tally to 21 points and securing 3rd place. The defending champions, Al Rayyan, remain with 16 points and are in 4th place.

In another match, Al Sadd achieved their first victory by defeating Al Gharafa three sets to two. Al Sadd won with set scores of (16-25), (26-24), (20-25), (25-16), and (15-9), earning two extra points, yet remaining in 10th and last place, while Al Gharafa's tally stood at four points in 9th place.

At the conclusion of round one matches, Al Wakrah topped the standings with 22 points, followed by Police SC in 2nd place and Al Arabi in 3rd, with 21 points each. Al Rayyan, Qatar SC, and Al Ahli occupied 4th through 6th places respectively, each with 16 points, followed by Al Khor in 7th with 11 points, Al Shamal in 8th with six points, Al Gharafa in 9th with three points, and Al Sadd in 10th and last place with two points.
