Al Arabi, Al Gharafa, Qatar, Al Sadd Secure Wins in Third Round of Men’s Table Tennis League

Doha: The Qatari Men's Table Tennis League for the 2025-2026 season continued for its third day with the participation of nine clubs. Thursday's matches included four games in the third round of the league, held at the Training and Preparation Center in Ras Abu Aboud.

According to Qatar News Agency, in the first match, Al Arabi defeated Al Wakrah 3-0. In the second match, Al Gharafa beat Al Ahli 3-1. In the third match, Qatar SC triumphed over Al Rayyan 3-0. In the fourth and final match of the day, Al Sadd overcame Al Khor 3-2.

Yesterday's second round saw Al Arabi defeat Al Ahli 3-0, Qatar SC beat Al Gharafa 3-1, Al Sadd defeat Al Shamal 3-0, and Al Khor defeat Al Rayyan 3-1. At the conclusion of the third round, Qatar and Al Sadd were tied for first place with 6 points each, followed by Al Khor in second place with 5 points.

Al Arabi, Al Rayyan, and Al Gharafa shared third place with 4 points each, with Al Arabi earning 4 points from two wins and no losses. Al Ahli came in fourth with 3 points, followed by Al Shamal and Al Wakrah in fifth place with 2 points each.

The tournament continues on Saturday with the fourth round of matches, featuring Al Arabi against Al Gharafa, Al Shamal against Al Wakrah, Al Rayyan against Al Ahli, and Qatar against Al Sadd. The competition will continue until the ninth round, which will be held on Nov. 27, to determine the top three finishers in the league.

It is worth noting that Al Arabi won the Men's Table Tennis League title last season, with Qatar finishing second and Al Sadd third.
