Doha: Arab Educational Training Center for Gulf States (AETCGS) is organizing a new training program focused on empowering teachers with artificial intelligence (AI) skills. The program, which began today and will run until December 4, 2025, is part of a series of fall programs offered at the end of the 2024 academic year and aims to prepare educational leaders.
According to Qatar News Agency, the training is a collaborative effort between AETCGS and the Doha-based Global Studies Institute (GSI), following a memorandum of understanding signed by both parties. The program is designed to address current requirements and cutting-edge technologies in education, covering topics such as an introduction to AI, current and future trends in AI, and leveraging AI for creating educational content.
Participants will also explore the strength of AI in redefining educational assessment and analysis, as well as the use of AI tools to reinforce academic research in the digital age. The training will further focus on how AI
can facilitate administrative functions for teachers and enhance teaching techniques.
The program provides an opportunity for teachers to engage with state-of-the-art AI tools, helping them design educational curricula and perform data analysis more efficiently. Held in person at GSI’s premises in Doha, the 15-hour training culminates with participants receiving accredited certificates from both AETCGS and GSI, enabling them to integrate advanced technology into education.
