Aamal Company Collaborates with Niedax Group for Cable Management Manufacturing in Qatar


Doha: Aamal Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Germany’s Niedax Group, a global leader in cable management systems. The agreement aims to establish a facility in Qatar for producing and distributing cable management products made of GRP and steel.

According to Qatar News Agency, the MoU was signed by HE Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Aamal Company Sheikh Mohamed bin Faisal Al-Thani and Managing Director of Niedax Group Adrian Lowiner. The ceremony was attended by HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs of the State of Qatar Dr. Ahmad Al Sayed and HE Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany Dr. Katherina Reiche.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Faisal Al-Thani stated that the agreement is a significant step in enhancing Qatar’s industrial capabilities and supporting the nation’s diversification strategy. He emphasized the importance of collaborating with a global leader like Niedax to expand Aamal’s portfolio and advance high-quality manufa
cturing in Qatar, contributing to the sustainable growth of the country’s economy.

Adrian Lowiner expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation, highlighting Niedax Group’s global leadership in cable management systems. He noted that the family-owned company, founded in 1920, generates around EUR 1 billion in annual revenue and operates in more than 30 countries. Niedax supports major infrastructure, industrial, automotive, energy, maritime, and data center projects worldwide and is also active in distribution, steel service centers, and infrastructure solutions.

Nizar Maarouf, Liaison Director of the German Mittelstand GCC Office (BVMW), remarked on the strategic partnership’s role in advancing industrial innovation and achieving long-term economic value. He extended gratitude to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and various Qatari institutions for their support.
