An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale struck northwestern Saudi Arabia on Friday.
The Saudi Geological Survey said in a statement, that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded a 3.6 degrees earthquake east of Al-Shannan, Hail region.
The Authority’s spokesman Tareq Aba Al Khail said that the situation is reassuring and is limited to the sensation of the tremor, and no aftershocks have been recorded.
