Doha: Five Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured Sunday in Israeli bombardment of different areas across the Gaza Strip. A woman was martyred and others wounded when Israeli occupation warplanes shelled a school in the Zaitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City.

According to Qatar News Agency, in the central Gaza Strip, medical sources said three Palestinians were martyred and others injured when Israeli occupation forces targeted a crowd near an aid distribution point south of Wadi Gaza. In the south, one Palestinian was martyred and several others wounded when the occupation forces opened fire at aid seekers northwest of Rafah.

Medical sources added that 12 Palestinians have been martyred in Israeli attacks since dawn today. The overall death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has risen to 62,622 martyrs and 157,673 wounded.
