Mulugu: An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale struck the city of Mulugu in southern India today. According to Qatar News Agency, the US Geological Survey reported on Wednesday that the earthquake occurred 55 kilometers from the city of Mulugu, and at a depth of 10 kilometers. There have been no reports of human or material damage as a result of the earthquake so far. It is worth noting that the Indian subcontinent has suffered from the most violent earthquakes in the world in recent decades.
