Bali: A 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck the Indonesian island of Bali Thursday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the earthquake occurred approximately 303 km east of the Kota Selatan area, at a depth of 10 km, the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency said.
Indonesia is regularly exposed to earthquakes due to its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire, where many tectonic plates meet and cause frequent volcanic and seismic activity.
