Gaza: Palestinian medical sources announced Saturday that 45 Palestinians, including 29 from Gaza City, have been martyred by Israeli gunfire and airstrikes targeting various areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, the sources clarified that 24 martyrs were transferred to Shifa Hospital, 8 to the Arab (Baptist) Hospital, and 5 to Al Awda Hospital. One martyr was taken to Al-Aqsa Hospital, 4 to Nasser Hospital, and 3 to the Red Crescent Hospital.

Nasser Medical Center had earlier announced the martyrdom of two citizens seeking aid, who were killed by Israeli forces near humanitarian assistance centers in the northern part of Rafah.

In addition, Shifa Hospital received 5 martyrs who were targeted by Israeli forces while gathered in the Al-Karama area in the northwest of Gaza City.

Israeli forces also destroyed the Al-Noor Tower in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood in the southwest of Gaza City.

On Friday, 70 Palestinians were martyred in the Gaza Strip, raising the total number of martyrs due to the ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, to 64,803 martyrs and 164,264 injured, the majority of whom are women and children.
