Balochistan: Four police officers were killed in an armed attack in Balochistan province, southwest Pakistan. Local police stated that unidentified gunmen opened fire on a police vehicle carrying out routine patrols in the Nushki area of Balochistan province, resulting in the deaths of four officers.

According to Qatar News Agency, security forces cordoned off the site to collect evidence, and the victims were transferred to the hospital. The incident highlights an increase in attacks in recent months, particularly in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the northwest.

Pakistani forces have been continuing their efforts for years to eliminate armed groups entrenched in mountainous areas and launching occasional attacks against security personnel and civilians.
