Izmir: Four people were injured on Sunday following an explosion in a residential building in the western Turkish province of Izmir.
According to Qatar News Agency, the blast - suspected to have been caused by a natural gas leak, occurred in a seven-story residential building located in the Bornova district.
Firefighters successfully extinguished the resulting fire; however, the explosion caused damage to the affected apartment, as well as to neighboring homes, businesses, and parked vehicles in the vicinity.
