Qasreshirin: An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale struck on Tuesday the city of Qasreshirin in Kermanshah Province, western Iran.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Earthquake Monitoring Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 14 kilometers. It was located 19 kilometers from Qasreshirin, 44 kilometers from Sarpol-e Zahab, and 45 kilometers from Azkale.
So far, no reports of possible damage have been reported. More than a month ago, a 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck the city of Qasreshirin.
