Riyadh: Qatar has clinched three new gold medals at the 4th Arab Aquatics Age Group Championships, currently being held in the Kingdom of Morocco and continuing until Sept. 1, 2025.
According to Qatar News Agency, swimmer Ali Sayed snagged the gold medal in the 50m Butterfly (Open Category), while swimmer Adam Morsi won the gold in the 100m Breaststroke for the 13-14 age group, and swimmer Mohammed Mahmoud secured the gold medal in the 200m Individual Medley (Open Category).
In addition, swimmer Abdullah Al Ghamri earned the bronze in the 200m Backstroke for the 17-18 age group.
Qatar's swimmers have recorded new Arab scores, with Ali Sayed completing the race in 22.65 seconds, Adam Morsi finishing in 1:09.35, and Mohammed Mahmoud touching the wall in 2:05.78.
These milestones have elevated Qatar's credits to seven gold medals at this tournament, featuring the participation of 19 Arab countries.
