Doha: The Pakistani army announced that three militants were killed during a security operation in the southwest of the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, intelligence-based operations were conducted by the security forces in the districts of Kharan and Turbat in the Balochistan province, the Army said in a statement. The statement added that the operation resulted in the killing of three militants and the injury of two others, in addition to the seizure of large quantities of weapons.
