Borno: At least 26 people were killed and others injured in a bomb explosion in northeastern Nigeria.
According to Qatar News Agency, Nigerian security sources reported that an explosive device detonated as a passenger truck passed in Borno State, resulting in the deaths of at least 26 individuals, including women and children.
Armed groups have been active in northeastern Nigeria for years. Their ongoing conflict with government forces has forced tens of thousands of people to flee their homes. This violence has claimed the lives of approximately 40,000 people and left millions more in need of humanitarian aid.
