Doha: The Israeli occupation army on Tuesday pounded multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, mowing down 21 Palestinians and wounding dozens more. Medical sources reported that at least 10 people were martyred, and dozens were wounded after the Israeli army fired a cascade of artillery shells at the Palestinians queuing for aid in the Al Sudaniyya area, in the northwestern Gaza enclave.
According to Qatar News Agency, an unknown number of Palestinians were martyred and wounded in an Israeli raid on a home in the Old City of Gaza. In the central Palestinian enclave, a woman was martyred after being shot earlier at the Nuseirat refugee camp. Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli armored vehicles fired at Palestinians who were trying to reach the air-dropped pallets of aid in the Netzarim area, where Israeli forces are stationed south of Gaza City.
At least six Palestinians were martyred and dozens of aid seekers wounded after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces near the Morag axis, south of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip, the sources continued. Meanwhile, Israeli aerial offensives continued to target surrounding areas, with four Palestinians, including two full brothers and a woman, martyred in a strike that hit a tent sheltering displaced individuals in the Bir 19 area of Al 'Mawasi, within the city.
The sources further indicated that over 90 Palestinians have been martyred since dawn on Tuesday, among them 45 aid seekers. As of today, the death toll from the Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip has risen to 60,034, with 145,870 wounded since October 7, 2023. The Israeli occupation forces have resumed their aggression against the Gaza Strip since March 18, following a two-month respite under a ceasefire deal that entered into force on January 19. However, the Israeli entity breached the items of this deal and continued to launch offensives in various areas across the Strip, which is reeling from an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
