20 Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Shelling of Gaza Strip

Gaza city: 20 Palestinians were martyred and others wounded Monday in ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, and a massacre committed by the occupation forces against starving people waiting for aid in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian medical sources reported that the occupation forces committed a massacre Monday against people waiting for aid near the Morag axis south of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. The initial death toll was 14 Palestinians, with dozens injured, indicating that the death toll is likely to rise due to serious injuries.

Two citizens were killed in an Israeli shelling near the al Majdal station on Salah al Din Street in the town of al-Qarara, north of the city. The Civil Defense stated that one of its members succumbed to wounds he sustained in shelling a few days ago west of Khan Yunis.

In the central Gaza Strip, a Palestinian was martyred in an Israeli drone strike targeting his home in the Al Hakr area, south of Deir al-Balah. In Gaza City, a Palestinian was martyred and others were injured in an Israeli strike targeting a group of citizens in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of the city. Another Palestinian was martyred and others were injured in an Israeli strike targeting an apartment near the Al Shanti Bakery in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of the city.

Medical sources said that at least 65 people have been martyred by Israeli army fire in the Gaza Strip since dawn today, including 23 aid seekers. Today, the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 59,921, and 145,233 have been injured since October 7, 2023.

The Ministry of Health reported that 100 martyrs, including two who were recovered, and 382 injuries have been reported to hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression against the Gaza Strip after violating the ceasefire agreement on March 18th, following a two-month hiatus. The attacks targeted various areas of the Strip, which is facing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
