Blora: A fire erupted at an oil well, killing two people and injuring several others, according to the Blora District Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in Central Java, Indonesia.
According to Qatar News Agency, BPBD's Rapid Response Team member Agung Triyono reported that two people succumbed to severe burns, while three others, including a young child, were receiving hospital care.
A Blora police spokesman stated that the fire resulted from a borehole explosion. The flames rapidly spread across the drilling site, prompting the evacuation of 50 families to safer locations.
Five firetrucks were dispatched, and emergency teams continued their efforts to extinguish the fire and monitor the area. Police secured the site and initiated an investigation into the fire's cause.
