12 Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Shelling of Gaza

Gaza: 12 Palestinians were killed and others wounded Friday in the ongoing Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that a Palestinian was martyred, and several others were injured when Israeli warplanes targeted a bicycle near the military clinic in the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

Local sources reported that Israeli aircraft destroyed the Abu Asi School, which houses thousands of displaced people in the camp, and bombed dozens of homes, buildings, and residential towers in the camp and surrounding areas on Al Nasr Street and Izz al Din al Qassam Street.

One person was martyred, and others were wounded when the Israeli occupation forces bombed an apartment in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of the city. Four Palestinians were also killed when Israeli aircraft targeted a group of citizens near the Ali Mosque in the Al Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city.

In the southern Gaza Strip, one person was martyred in an Israeli shelling near Asdaa Prison, northwest of Khan Yunis. Another person was martyred, and others were injured in an Israeli drone strike on a tent housing displaced persons in the Bir 19 area of Al Mawasi, southwest of the city. Three civilians were also martyred in an Israeli airstrike on the Al Katiba neighborhood, north of Khan Yunis.

In the central Gaza Strip, a Palestinian was martyred by Israeli drone fire north of the Nuseirat refugee camp.

According to the latest official statistics, the death toll in the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 64,756, with 164,059 injured since October 7, 2023.

The Israeli occupation forces resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip after violating the ceasefire agreement on March 18, following a two-month pause. The attacks targeted various areas of the Gaza Strip, which is already facing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy after 22 months of war.
