Gaza city: More than 12 Palestinians were martyred and several others injured today as Israeli occupation forces launched new airstrikes and shelling in northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that three people were martyred and ten others injured when Israeli occupation warplanes targeted aid security personnel at Al-Tuwam junction in northwestern Gaza. Rescue teams also recovered the bodies of eight martyrs following an Israeli occupation strike on Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. Meanwhile, several others were reported dead, injured, or missing under the rubble after an Israeli occupation airstrike hit a residential home on Yaffa Street in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of the city.
Additionally, a woman was martyred after being shot by Israeli occupation forces near an aid distribution center in southwestern Khan Younis, southern Gaza. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths, injuries, and missing persons-most of them women and children-amid an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe. The crisis is compounded by a severe blockade and starvation policy imposed by the occupation across the entire Strip.
