11 Palestinians Martyred, Others Injured as Israeli Occupation Strikes Continue on Gaza Strip

Gaza strip: Eleven Palestinians were martyred and several others injured on Saturday as Israeli occupation forces continued their airstrikes and shelling across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported the recovery of the body of an elderly man who was martyred in Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis. Another civilian succumbed to wounds sustained in an Israeli strike on the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city.

In central Gaza, five Palestinians waiting for aid were killed and around 40 others wounded after Israeli forces opened fire near the Netzarim area. Another person was martyred in an airstrike west of Al-Zawaida town.

Meanwhile, three more civilians were martyred and others injured after Israeli occupation forces targeted a group of people in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Local sources reported that nearly 30 Palestinians have been martyred by Israeli fire across the Gaza Strip since dawn today, including 10 aid seekers.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, has left tens of thousands dead and wounded-most of them women and children-amid an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe. The situation is further exacerbated by severe hunger and a crippling blockade imposed by the occupation across the entire Strip.
