Yelets: A woman was killed, and five others were injured in a Ukrainian drone strike on the town of Yelets in Russia's Lipetsk Oblast.

According to Qatar News Agency, the region's governor announced Tuesday that Yelets was attacked, resulting in one death and several injuries. The attack also damaged a number of residential buildings.

Russia and Ukraine have been exchanging almost daily reports claiming to have repelled attacks from the other side. These reports have not been independently verified due to the ongoing conflict, which began on February 24, 2022.
